We are inching closer to Election Day, our expert panel waiting in the wings to discuss our topic of the week, health care.

But first, Fox News correspondent Peter Ducey has been following the candidates on the campaign trail and gives us an update.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg is one of the first Democratic debaters in this week's host city of Atlanta

trying to establish himself with minorities ahead of the primaries,

meeting students at Morehouse College, a historically black college,

because the young, openly gay mayor of South Bend is surging in Iowa,

but he's hurting in South Carolina, a state where

60% of the Democratic primary electorate is black, and a new Quinnipiac poll of black voters there,

finds his support sitting at 0%. A disparity he alluded to, minutes after finding out, the

Des Moines Register CNN poll has him up nine points on the field in the First in the Nation Caucus state of Iowa.

Well, that's extremely encouraging.

You know, we have, obviously, we have felt a lot of momentum on the ground, especially with the work that we've been doing, not just in terms of my visits to the state, but over 100 organizers there,

building relationships, getting our message out. And even now, we know that we're not as well

known as some of my competitors. So it's very encouraging, and at the same time, there is a long

way to go. And there are a lot of states in this process, so I recognize the work that we've got

to do, both to consolidate our gains
