We are less than a year away from Election Day 2020, and our expert panel is waiting patiently

here to discuss our topic this week, criminal justice reform and how that plays in. But first,

Fox News correspondent Peter Ducey has been following the candidates on the campaign trail

and gives us an update.

Michael Bloomberg just turned the race for the Democratic nomination on its head.

It's not just because he's skipping the early states and not just because he is a recent Republican and independent officeholder,

but because he's not even going to try to make the debate stage because he's not even going to

try to gather the donations needed to qualify it's up to the DNC to they can set the rules and

if they set the rules where I qualify I would certainly debate if they set the rules where I

don't qualify then I won't.

The Democrat who raised the most money last quarter was Bernie Sanders, and it was just more than $25 million,

which is still less than what Michael Bloomberg dropped on TV ads that started running Monday. I understand the power of the 1%.

I mean, you're seeing that right now literally with Mayor Bloomberg, who has decided to use part of his $55 billion, not to buy a yacht, not to buy another home, not to buy a fancy car, but to buy the United States government.

Sanders once said, billionaires should not exist,

and Elizabeth Warren uses billionaires as a foil at nearly every event

while describing who will pay for her ambitious, progressive platform.
