So first up activist investment firm Elliot management made an all-cash offer to buy Athena

Health, which is a software provider for the health care industry, for about $7 billion or

a $160 per share offering.

This news came out on Monday morning and the stock rose to about $146 per share by the end of the day, which was a nice 16% pop, but notably not quite a pop all the way to that 160 offering level.
