I'm a licensed clinical psychologist and medium, and here we explore life, death, consciousness, and what it all means. Today's the first episode of my new season. This is my sixth season,

I think. I started in 2018, the end of 2018. So I am returning to my roots in some way and really why I started this podcast

was I had gone through my own experiences of grief and had had multiple visits from my loved one,

my Aunt Linda, who passed away, and then started opening up more and more to others, to my

own loved ones, to patients, loved ones. And it really started to open up this world for me around

grief and grieving and loss and mediumship. And as a psychologist, I felt like there was no place for me to go. I felt like there was nowhere

I belonged. I was afraid to share these experiences with a larger outside community because

I was so scared of what people would think. I thought it would undermine my credibility as a therapist, as a psychologist,

working under a license, but yet I couldn't deny the reality of these experiences, how powerful

they were for me, how transformative and healing they were for me, but also the possibility that

they could be transformative for others as well.

And so when I came across Dr. Lenore Matthew's work, I was so moved.
