I'm a sexologist and sex and relationship coach.

And today I'm joined by Dr. Carla O'Brien.

Carla is an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner.

And I met Carla when we were on our trip around Australia.

Carla practices acupuncture in Adelaide in Australia

and I just recently experienced a miscarriage

and I was looking for a skilled practitioner who could help me heal from that miscarriage

while I was in Adelaide. And I was referred to Carla.

And she was just really beautiful with the way she held the energy in the space and allowed me to

move through my grief. And so I wanted to get Carla onto the show today to talk about her experience

as a practitioner with pregnancy and acupuncture and her experience of healing from her own

miscarriage and preparing for the next baby that she has now had and is 10 weeks old.

And we also ended up speaking about the postpartum period and placentering capitulation.

So this episode is about Carla's experience of all these things, plus her professional opinion on these

stages in pregnancy and, you know, how acupuncture and Chinese medicine can help. So I really,
