Today we're talking briefly about the Joe Roggan Podcast,

as well as a little bit about the upcoming version 9 software for Tesla.

Tesla stock on Thursday giving up most of the gains that we discussed that happened during pre-market,

finishing barely in the green up 0.07% to $280.95.

This compared to the Nasdak down 0.91% though, so relatively a strong performance from Tesla yesterday.

So after the Joe Roggan interview yesterday with Elon Musk that ended up being three plus hours,

Tesla isn't moving too much in the pre-market today down about 1.5% to

2.77. If Tesla ends around there today I am 100% okay with that after the

headlines that are coming out today such as one on the top of my news feed that reads,

quote, Elon Musk seen smoking weed drinking whiskey on podcast, end quote.

That headline coming from CNBC.

As I said yesterday, a two to three hour interview with Elon Musk was a great risk of

generating headlines like this whether or not you think that is actually a

negative headline. Certainly it will be interpreted that way by some. I haven't had

time to watch the interview yet, but from what I understand

Elon took a single hit of marijuana that was offered to him by Joe Rogin during the podcast.

So first and foremost, this is of course legal in California.

Some people will view this no differently than somebody having a little bit of alcohol during a

podcast, others will interpret it to be much worse than that.
