Hello and welcome to the Thursday September 6th 2018 edition of Tesla Daily

unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Thank you for your

patience over the last couple of days as I've had to miss a couple episodes here.

That's one reason I recommend following me on Twitter at Tesla Podcast so in cases like that I can

easily give an update on Twitter as I did this time.

That way you can stay informed on the status of the podcast if I happen to have to miss an episode unexpectedly.

All right, so a lot going on this week, really week for Tesla finishing down 2.84

yesterday to $280.74 which compared to the NASDAQ also with a tough day

down 1.19 percent but we closed the last week right around that $300 level. I said I was looking forward to September.

Hopefully looking for maybe a little bit less volatility. But of course that is rare for Tesla and seems to have alluded us thus far in September, but that is what Tesla is.

In the pre-market today fairing a little bit better up $5 currently to around $286 per share,

possibly being driven by some of the estimates that are coming out for model 3 sales for August,

which of course are very strong relative to other electric vehicles.

Inside EVs came out with their estimate yesterday.

Now as we've discussed previously inside EVs is

estimating just like everybody else back when everybody was tracking the

winding down to Tesla's 200,000th U.S. delivery to trigger the start of the

federal tax credit phase out. Many people were

basing their numbers off of inside Evie's historical estimates and using those numbers

concluded that there was no way that Tesla would not trigger the phase out in Q2 rather than in

Q3, which did not end up being the case.
