The news is Secretary of State Marco Rubio, leaving Jerusalem after conferring with the Prime Minister over the Doha tragedy,

moving now to Doha itself to confer with the Amir, knowing that there is an Arab League meeting called hastily an emergency session

because of what is acknowledged to be an Israeli airstrike against a residence in

Doha in order to decapitate the Hamas negotiators leading the gangsters in Gaza who are

refusing to surrender and refusing to return the hostages dead and alive.

Mary Kissel, former senior advisor for the Secretary of State, now the Executive Vice

President Stevens, Incorporated, here to comment on State Department's heavy lift.

Rubio meets with Mr. Netanyahu, knowing that the President's opinion is that he was not told beforehand or much beforehand of a strike and doesn't approve of it,

knowing that Mr. Netanyahu is on the defensive. He's now traveling to the Emir.

There's a lot of diplomacy going on, Mary. Good evening to you. What should we look for from the secretary or from Doha? Good evening.

Good evening to you, John. And thanks, as always, for having me. Well, there is a lot of shuttling back and forth here after Israel's strike on Iran-backed terrorists living in Doha.

But a lot of this is also diplomatic theater, John, because every country in the Gulf,

in the Middle East, at large, knows that Iran is the source of all of the upset and the

violence and the terror.

It's the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism, and it wasn't so long ago that Iranian-back forces themselves launched at the Emirates.

So Marco Rubio's mission, I think, is twofold, first to make the show of going over and talking to Netanyahu

in the same way that President Trump dined with the Qatar Prime Minister Mohammed bin Eltoni the day before and show support.

Secondly, I'm sure they're discussing the state of Iran's nuclear program and missile program because I think the big story that hasn't been discussed,

but should be explored more deeply, is the stance in Tehran. I mean, the Supreme Leader Ali
