This is CBSI and the world. I'm John Bachelor. I welcome my colleague Peter Berkowitz at the

Hoover Institution, writing his column in real clear politics, most recently, introducing us to a new

book, explaining Israel, the Jewish state,

So congratulations, Peter, and welcome, and I go immediately to the politics you've identified

as critical to understand to the present dilemma we're all struggling with,

the war ongoing, but the condemnations are growing in states, states that are allied to the United

States about Israel's existential conflict. So we go to the two events you've identified in Mr. Netanyahu's sixth government.

Remember, there were five elections with no clear result. Sixth government. There were two events

that now look very much as a foundation for the disorder and the crisis and the tragedy.

One is not much talked about on this side of the world, which is the very activist court.

The other, of course, is the attack on October 7th.
