I decided to put myself through some exposure therapy.

That's what they call it, right? Whenever you do something you're not bad at and you're probably going to fail,

but you try it anyway.

So whenever I go to a bar, I just, it's hard to put into words what it is whenever I sit next

to a person and I want to try to have a conversation like you see in a movie where

two guys sit at a bar and just want to try to have a conversation like you see in a movie where two guys sit

at a bar and just talk about nothing. Except I have this fear that I guess it comes from I think

they're just going to hate me and that I'm weird like I can't just have a normal conversation

with someone. So I decided to try my hand and my girlfriend went on a bachelorette trip. So I had a

free Friday night. I could have reached out to one of my friends, went out with them. Instead,

I decided to take a risk. And so I started off at this one bar. It was like a sports bar with wings.

And I sat down at the bar. Off off the bat I could tell kind of a tough

environment because there was a group of like four guys sitting next to each other they look like

they just got off the job site and they had probably been sitting there a long time like

they already had a what's it called a rapport with the with the bar what's that person called bartender
