And everyone's still in the influencer marketing phase right now.

Everyone thinks influencer marketing is like the thing. It's dying like crazy. So everyone's going performance based right now. And so they're all going, okay, how can I get a normal average person to sell and make a lot of money? Because everyone wants to buy from the person that they seem like, look like, or act like. And no one, no one really relates to Kim Kardashian,

to be honest. They just don't relate to that because it's such a different lifestyle than a lot of people. And so they relate to people like me who most people who are watching this probably don't even know who I am. And that's kind of kind of by design. Like they seem like, oh, someone who thinks like me, acts like me, they're going to want to purchase from me. And so the average person is making all the money right now. And that's the huge shift. And when the world kind of figures that out, which they're kind of doing right now, is when the market floods and all these creators are kind of going into that market, making a ton of money. Welcome to the Rich Strummers Report where we talk real estate, business, and wealth building,

I got someone who is doing big things in the business, in the online space, and this might be the best beginner opportunity in 2026. He personally went from zero to $50,000 in two months with this new thing that I don't know much about. I'm very, very excited to learn all about it. I got my man Nick Fowler in the building. What's up, Nick? What's up? I'm happy to be here, man. Dude, appreciate you coming on, man. And,

1:41.1

dude, fun fact, before we jump into the TikTok shop stuff and everything you're doing, you are a full-time U.S. aviation rescue swimmer. Yeah, dude. Dude, thank you for the service. Appreciate it. Thank you. Yeah, it's pretty fun.

1:42.0

What does that entail?

1:44.1

So we,

1:46.0

there's a ton of things we do,

2:34.4

but like it's advertised as an aviation rescue swimmer, so we're jumping out of the heloes, rescuing survivors and stuff, which I've done that. I was out in Hawaii for about four years doing that. But we also door gunners were anti-submarine warfare, like tons of different stuff. Fucking crazy, bro. Yeah, it's fun. Well, thank you for the service, dude. Thank you. So you went from zero to $50,000 in two months with TikTok shop. What is TikTok shop? TikTok shop is basically you get a free product mailed to your house from a company, a brand. It could be Crocs. It could be, you know, Ninja, QVC is on there. And they just send you free stuff and you get that product. You make a video of it. And every time that video makes a sale, you get a commission from that sale. So, you know, you could get, you know, 10%, 50%, you know, it depends on the price of the products as well and per brand on how much you make. But if that video goes viral, you make a ton of money. It's pretty cool. Yeah, interesting. And so how many views typically do you need to get in order to translate to one sale? That's a good question. I get that one a lot. So it depends. Like I just got a Roomba. They were on TikTok shop now. And I got 200 views made a sale. And things like $500. And so I made like 50 bucks off 200 views, which is really crazy. And it varies like nuts. It's all dependent on like how well you are at sales mixed with entertaining and content. Right. And how good is that product? Is there a sale on that product right now? Like there's a lot that goes into it, but it's, I would say it's pretty typical, you know, every 2,000, 3,000 views you're making a sale or so. Is Instagram doing this as well, or is this solely just TikTok thing? The way that TikTok is doing it is just TikTok. Like, Instagram obviously has their like integration with Shopify, right?

3:25.0

But it's so different in the fact that TikTok is integrated just in itself. They have their own shop feature. It's just like Amazon, but built into TikTok. So all you have to do is a consumer is click one button and click buy now. Like there's probably a ton of people are probably watching this. I've probably bought from TikTok and it's very simple. And that's what's so dangerous about it for a consumer is they're just like buying like crazy because of it. And especially if you have a good creator that's converting you, like they're making a ton of money. Yeah, absolutely. So TikTok shop, let's say someone gets on TikTok and they're brand new, not a ton of followers. what's the best way for them to, you know, get to a position to where they can start landing these

3:59.9

these clubs or will these companies collab with anyone? So it depends on the company, but if you're a beginner, you don't have any followers, you've never had the TikTok app, which is actually what my mom was. She'd never had the TikTok app. And what you want, you need 5,000 followers to start. You can get into the program at 1,000 followers, but 5,000 followers is where they allow you to post as much as you want, which is like the lottery ticket system right there. It's like the more you post and you hit a viral video, the more often you're going to make money, right? So 5,000 followers is the threshold. You need to be in an eligible country like the United States, for example, and you start making good content. You start making sales. The one thing I like about TikTok now

4:36.2

with the algorithms, the algorithm is so good now. You can put out a video on any topic. And if you

4:42.1

have the right keywords, it will pick up on the video as well. And it will push it to the right

4:46.7

audience if it's a good video.

4:48.6

And so what is the key to structuring a good video that's going to get views, but also,

4:54.4

you know, go out to the right people?

4:56.6

It's all about countering yourself from what the typical feed looks like.

4:59.6

So like hooking people, like how does your hook look?
