but he won't actually set up a date. And so this inspiration came from a listener of the podcast,

and she reached out to me about answering this question for her. So I'm going to read her question

to you, and then I'm going to answer it. So she wrote, this past

week I found your podcast and I've been listening to a few episodes. It's very helpful to me because

I hate dating and I know I have to change the way I think about it to get different outcomes.

I'm going to ask a question and I'd love to hear your response, hopefully through email but also

so others can hear it too. So recently I started texting a guy found through Hinge. We've been

chatting for about two weeks going into three weeks. I really like our conversations and feel a connection through our

messages, but I know I need to meet him and see how our in-person connection is. Here's the thing.

There hasn't been much conversation around planning a time to meet. There has been a slight mention

of it, but no actual time and date set. I know every situation is different, but I want some advice on what to think

about this and what I should do. Now this past week, I know he had plans to go out of town for a few

days, so I'm thinking that might be the reason why he hasn't tried to plan anything yet. I'm not sure.
