Hope may be one of the most potent substances on the planet.

With it, people can be sustained, without it.

People can, well, have no hope.

But I'm going to read a verse that gives us a reality of hope.

As I read it, I want you to close your eyes and picture this reality for yourself.

Hebrews 1023 declares, so now, wrap your heart tightly around the hope that lies within us,

knowing that God always keeps his promises.

The reality is we don't have to look for outside circumstances to align in order for us to have hope.

Hope is within us in the person of Jesus Christ.

Right now, with your eyes still closed, I want you to picture hope as a potent diamond.

Think about diamonds that are so small, but get so valuable.

It only takes a little to be worth a lot. Now I want you to picture that hope on the inside of you.

Maybe you don't have a lot. All you need is a little.

And that hope is wrapped up in the person of Jesus, because Jesus is inside of us. Hope is inside of us.

Declare this after me. Say Jesus, thank you for hope.

One more time, let's say Jesus, thank you for hope. And once again, say Jesus, thank you for hope.

As for the once again say, Jesus, thank you for hope.

As followers of Jesus, we know that it's there because the Bible tells us, but sometimes

that hope gets stuck so deep inside of us that our feelings or our thoughts don't function in the realm of hope.

So when we need to have hope, how do we access it? How do we get more hope? Where do we go? How to

remind ourselves that it is there? Our verse declares that this hope lies within us

because we know that God always keeps his promises.
