Oh, here we go again with the whole banning a Tik-Tok thing.

And now here we are in a presidential election year.

So, Biden has suggested, look, man, if Congress was behind it we would all ban

Tik-Tok right? Yeah and so what it is it's there's legislation I think making

its way through the house right now basically saying it's not a ban on TikTok but it would force the

TikTok's parent company which is a Chinese own company called bite dance to sell

TikTok because there are worries about information that Americans are using being

uploaded and used by the Chinese government despite Tik-Toc's

headquarters being in Singapore which is not China but because the parent

company is Chinese there are worries about

information and national security. Now, TikTok was remedying this by building a huge data center

here in Texas so that all the information would be stored on US soil for Americans.

Despite that, Montana tried to ban it statewide.

A federal judge blocked it, saying that they couldn't do that because it's

freedom of expression but now president Biden is saying I would support this

legislation to force bite dance to sell TikTok and then Tikok hasn't had a official response but basically it's

predetermined legislation so if Bike Dance doesn't sell it then Tik-Tok would be banned

in the United States and this is one, I mean, so alienating.

Tic-talk, if you don't use it, you think of it as kind of just this dumb act

where people are doing dances and just stupid stuff. And there is a lot of misinformation on there and there are lots of you

know corny videos but it's also a place where there are different communities that are
