My title for today is, He Came, He Saw, and He Found.

If you know your history, you know Caesar Augustus would have quoted this, but Jesus is the one who came, saw, and found.

And who did he find?

He found you and me.

That is who we are.

And so we are of the Lord.

We are his children.

If you know him, if you don't, then I pray you get to know him and become a child,

become adopted by Jesus. He wants to know you and get to know you. And he is looking to you.

And so we're going to be in John 1.35 and talking about this. And I really do believe that

when and if you have an encounter with Jesus, that your life will never be the same.

I guarantee it. And I pray that you've encountered him before. And if you've never encountered him,

I pray that you would encounter him today before you leave this building. Get to know Jesus.

He wants to get to know you and your life will never be the same. And whenever he calls

you and me, we will answer. But we choose to follow him. So whatever you choose, if you choose to say yes to

Jesus or no to Jesus, you're giving him an answer. But he will always ask, follow me. Come follow me.

And I pray that everyone gets to know him in a personal, special way.

An encounter with Jesus is an encounter like no other.

So get to know him.

And we're going to see he is going to recruit some disciples.

And the things that he's going to talk about and the application we're going to see is not just for that time.

Although John's Gospel and, you know, the writers of the Bible were writing to an audience for that time.
