She can't really hold on to a bunch of short-term memories.

The longer-term childhood memories is the one that she can kind of hold on to.

So September 9th, 2024. I hate this story, but it's real life. I woke up to a weird noise, later found out it was my Apple Watch. So at this point, I still don't know what's going on because they don't have much detail, but besides, she's an accident. On a way to the hospital, I get a cough from an unknown number, and then they finally tell me your wife was an accident. I forget the exact break of the bones, but it's T1, T4, T5, right arm, fracture, right shoulder, and she shuffled a traumatic brain injury with bleeding to the brain. All of this hits me now. They told me everything that happened on the phone. But now I'm looking at her and just like, we just got married.

Is my wife about to die?

Am I about to be a widow?

Is my son about to grow up without his mom? It was just all type of thoughts that went through my mind. My first prayer was that, God, please don't take my wife. God, I don't want you to take my wife. God, whatever you give back to me, God, I will work with.

That's what I told him.

Whatever you give back.

Whatever you give back, I will work with.

He held on hook to his part. He didn't let my wife pass away. And so I'm continuing to hold on to my part. I'm just so honored that you're here today with us. Oh, that's so sweet. Thank you so much. You're welcome. Thank you so much, you know. I don't want to talk about this.
