but is it fair? Four minutes after 10 is the time. We begin with a contemplation of last night's debate,

which I have seen much of, but not all. I was very happy to attend the private eye aboard,

Paul Foote Award last night. Congratulations to Emily Dugan of BuzzFeed for her astonishing work

detailing the collapse of our justice system in this country

at the moment. But it meant that I've got hold of the debate on catch-up. I'll tell you what,

if you need anybody to herd cats for you anytime soon, Emily Maitless certainly seems capable

of doing a splendid job. I did not envy her at all the format last night, but she did

a magnificent job. It could have done with a little bit more space and time, I think, but that's

the nature of the medium. Boris Johnson sort of channeled the millennial equivalent of Shaggy's

It Wasn't Me. I don't know if you've noticed this, but the new it wasn't me is it was taken

out of context. Everything's taken out of context. I might make a little list of things that

have been taken out of context in recent years. Didn't Jay Dogtellers that his economics

guru's explanation that manufacturing and agriculture would collapse after a no deal Brexit had been taken out of context, the context being

a select committee in the actual House of Commons. Boris Johnson's comments about Muslim women being like letterboxes and bank robbers, I'm told, were taken out of context. We might have a look at how exactly that works. What was the context that somehow makes his comments less vile?
