Thank you for joining me for today's episode of Once Upon a Crime. It's the month of October, just about my favorite month.

0:24.1

October has the beginning of crisp weather, the turning of the leaves, and best of all, Halloween.

0:30.2

Because Halloween is my favorite holiday, I've decided to create a series that brings in some elements of that day.

0:36.6

Crime stories, of course,

0:38.2

0:42.3

So the chapters this month will, in essence, give you two stories.

0:46.6

In each, you will hear the story of a crime, and you will also hear about a haunting

0:51.5

associated with the place the crime or crimes occurred.

lives to a cold, calculating serial killer still haunt the grounds? Or, even more chillingly,

1:36.9

is the killer himself the dark spirit that roams his former killing grounds. So sit back,

1:43.8

perhaps light a fire or a candle.

1:46.0

Wrap yourself in a cozy blanket to keep the fall chill away

1:48.8

or to hide under if it gets too spooky.
