1:02.1 | So I started recommending this book and I thought, I would love for our churches to meet you |
1:07.6 | and hear the content of this book. And then of course, you lived in Australia, but now you lived |
1:12.0 | in the United States. And so thank you so much for doing this. And real quick, the best way to jump |
1:19.3 | into this is why did you write this book? Because it's a look at the dark side of Christianity, |
1:24.7 | but as dark as it has been historically, and even in some cases, currently, you're still a Christian. |
1:30.6 | So you didn't drive you away, but why would have drove you to write the book? |
1:36.4 | Well, being a historian by academic training, I already knew the lots of bodies buried |
1:44.9 | in the Christian history. But increasingly, I found that people who aren't connected with church |
1:58.0 | think that Christianity has only damaged the world, or that its main influence is negative. |
