On April 25th, New York's highest court, the Court of Appeals, overturned

the 2020 rape conviction of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. In a 4-3 decision, the court ruled that Weinstein had not received a fair trial

because of certain witness testimony that was admitted. The witnesses had

testified that Weinstein had also assaulted them, even though those incidents were not included in the criminal charges at issue in the trial.
