What is going on, everybody? Welcome back to the Mind Over Macros podcast. As always, I am your host, Mike Milner. And it's the day before Thanksgiving as this episode is being released. So I think it's a good time to, I mean, we can talk about gratitude, of course,

but I think it's about time that we discuss the real change that needs to happen as we start.

Like, it's getting real, you know, Thanksgiving, and then we move into December.

And before you know it, you're going to be looking at another year,

another year that has gone by in the blink of an eye. And it's just insane how this continues

to happen. I feel like every single year just gets faster and faster. Like 2025 does not even

feel like a real number that we should be actually seeing on the calendar.

I don't know if you're with me on that, but it just seems insane to be writing 2025 as a date.

Craziness.

But it's going to be here.

We're going to literally wake up tomorrow.

It's going to feel like tomorrow.

We're going to wake up and be like, oh, my God, it's another year.

And of course, we want to take the time to reflect.

We want to set our visions.

We want to set our goals.

But like nothing really changes.

It feels, I'll probably do a whole podcast on this about resolutions, and I've done it a million times.

Like, resolutions don't work, but then they actually do work.

Like, it's one of those weird things where, you know, it has an 8 to 9% success rate, but it's actually more successful than regular goal setting in other times of the year, which makes no sense.

So they do work, but they don't work.

We're still failing at an epic rate.
