How does Voldemort fly? Hey brother! Y'all, last week we dove into Hagrid's mystery flight to retrieve Harry from the hut on the rock.

And in order to clear all of our bases, we had to at least address the fact that Voldemort himself can fly.

And Hagrid was a former classmate of Tom Riddle, but no, of course, that's not how Hagrid flew.

But it did spark quite a few comments from folks asking, how exactly does Voldemort fly? Which is a great question

because for one it just goes completely unexplained he can just do it and for two it seems like

this piece of information really shocks members of the order of the phoenix it happened just after we

broke out of the circle mad I and Dung were close by us they were were heading north too. Voldemort, he can fly. Went straight for them. And this is arguably the order at the height of their power. They are stacked with great wizards, orrs, intel, and a leaked, incorrect trail of information. But despite all of that, the order is shocked. I mean, witnessing new magic is a tall order for a group

with this pedigree. So how does it work? Does it have something to do with Baltimore

being disembodied, you know, bottling some experience attached to the vapor-like state he

exists in after the spell backpires on Harry in Goddrick's Hollow all those years ago?

Feels like a good start, but if so, then how can he teach the only other character we see

capable of the skill, Severus Snape?

Like, he can't exactly share that experience, and let's face it, even if he could, Voldemort

wouldn't.

So what we're left with is a huge mystery with no real concrete explanation, but I think we may have found a thread inside of a seemingly different branch of magic that explains everything.
