Harvey in 2017 the inflow into Lake Con Row was about 130,000 cubic feet per second.

Just a few days ago they said they saw a peak of 150,000 cubic feet per second.

Our primary goal is to protect our dam.

People have been raising concerns about the release of water causing their homes and their

neighborhoods to flood. Can you just kind of speak on that a little bit?

Well, once again our role is to to maintain the integrity of the dam and with as we have rainfall and storm events, Mother Nature sends that rain.

We don't know when and how long and how much.

And we respond to that by opening our gates to protect our lake and our dam.
