I appreciate you listening. How's it going? How are things in your world?

If I'm not mistaken, it was this time last week that I was talking about how wonderful the weather

was here in Pennsylvania and how alive everything felt.

The plants were bursting and I wanted to bring that aliveness with me.

Well, I am struck by how often life is full of cruel irony.

This week, it's like the opposite is true.

It's gray and it's gloomy outside and my mood is matching.

And normally, if I was in a kind of crabby mood,

I wouldn't try to record intros and outros for the podcast.

I would wait, give it some more time.

Maybe I could find another wave you know, wave like,

I was just hearing someone talk earlier this week about emotions being like weather systems,

you know? And I would sometimes just wait to see if the storm would pass a little bit and I could

catch a better vibe to hit record and get the podcast out this week.

But you know what?

I don't have time because my wife's got a gig, she's got a freelance gig, and we need the

money so she's leaving for two days.

I got solo dad duty.

I can't just like put this off until later a day.

It's like it has to happen now.
