an NYPD cop made a daring rescue of an adorable kitten.

The little guy was stuck inside the frame of a tow truck marked on 34th Street near 30th Avenue.

A passerby called 911 to report the cat. Officer Sean Ryan arrived

and crawled under the car and spent more than an hour trying to coax a tiny animal out.

The cat refused to obey the commands of the officer who called for backup. Cops arrived on the

scene to find Officer Ryan on the ground and the parents struggled to apprehend the suspect

they drew their weapons demanding the kitten immediately stop resisting arrest

the kitten made an attempt to reach for Ryan's still holstered weapon

at which point the kitten was fatally shot by the officers

well he was adopted right then and there as soon as he got out of that truck.

And one of the passers-by, they had gathered to watch that heroic rescue and took home a nice kitty.
