Summary
As Texas attempts to redraw districts in Republicans’ favor before the midterms, Democrats skip town to Illinois and threaten nationwide retaliation. But, oops, their states are all already gerrymandered! Meanwhile, in another installment of “men according to women according to the New York Times,” feminists are shocked—shocked!—to meet with the consequences of their own actions. Where are all the chivalrous men at? One is in DC: DOGE team member Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, in defending his date from a crowd of aggressive youths, took a battering—and opened also a debate over bringing the capital back under federal control. Plus: the guys share more media recommendations!

| 1:22.0 | We promise you'll like it. It's going to be really fun. Actually, this is, to me, a really delightful and highly American little political drama. |
| 1:28.6 | You may have heard that the Texas legislature is moving to redistrict, which otherwise known as |
| 1:35.7 | to gerrymander, that is to redraw the lines of their electoral map, to gain another five |
| 1:42.0 | easy red congressional seats in advance of the midterm. |
| 1:47.1 | It seems pretty widely agreed that this was done at Trump's prompting and request. |
| 1:52.5 | It doesn't seem, I mean, who does want to lose a midterm, but especially Donald Trump |
| 1:56.6 | doesn't want to be hamstrung by another hashtag resistance with political teeth. This has been |
| 2:02.0 | greeted, perhaps predictably, by Democrats not only in Texas, but across the country with a kind |
| 2:08.5 | of catastrophic, apocalyptic, wailing and gnashing of teeth. In Texas, the Democrats have |
| 2:15.6 | done something that I didn't know they could do, which is they've |
| 2:18.6 | just left. They just kind of skipped town and went to Illinois, which broke quorum, |
