How do people get promoted? Have you ever an experience where you're really good at what you do?

0:04.9

You're reliable, you're on time, you're always getting your work done, you're focused, and people

0:09.7

actually can depend on you. But you see that others who seem less experienced or even less educated

0:14.4

are getting promoted faster than you. I've run four companies and hired over a thousand people.

1:12.5

what's going on? And it's because you probably are a phenomenal executor, but you're not yet a

1:17.8

phenomenal advocate. Back when I had my company gym launch, I had a director of our coaching

1:22.3

program, and he had moved up from being over sales to being over coaching. And I saw that he

1:27.3

was a phenomenal

1:28.3

executor but I noticed that there were some discrepancies in terms of he was really great at

1:32.9

execution but he wasn't the best advocate of himself and something that I noticed was I had brought
