How about that wishing you and yours the absolute best in the year to come?

Most of us didn't think we'd live this long

Right, but yeah here we are brand new year all hope springs eternal in the new year

Hope you're not too hung over

the day I know many people goodness gracious it feels like a lot of people have been on break for a long

time you know since Christmas Eve I mean hey we're coming up on a nine-day break

some of you guys got to get up go to work tomorrow for the first time in a while but listen

it's it's always interesting you know you, well, it's just another day, but it's really not just another day. I think it's one of those things too. You look back over last year and think about the triumphs the Mississippi State has had, the ones that we have had, the mistakes that we all made, and we get a chance to kind of fix that in the new year and so hopefully you guys had a great time with family over the holidays and you know the holiday weekend continues for many and some of you probably need it I guess the way the calendar fell it was kind of interesting you know the way it all works but it's a my sincere hope that

this next year is the best in your life so far right I mean you begin to think

about well what could be you think about what was you know what could be this

year you know I don't think we're going to add it into

grandchildren this year but you never know right not that we're opposed you know but

uh I think so much about you know the hope of 2024 and I as I've shared with you guys

before I'm the kind of guy that needs to have something to look forward to you know I'm

working on this new biography for Duty Noble.

So the formal writing process for that will begin this month.

And then later this year, that book will be on the market.

And I'll tell you, too, the publisher is talking about doing a special edition of the book.

So we'll have our regular stock, right?

There'll be thousands of those copies printed,

but maybe 150-so kind of special editions
