Happy New Year to you and your family. As I shared yesterday on Facebook as the final moments of 2024

began to kind of wind down, it's interesting to note, you know, I see all these new me new year new type things

let me just tell you this none of that means anything it's just something that people say if

2025 is going to be a prosperous new year for us it starts with us none of us is going to be a prosperous new year for us, it starts with us.

None of us is going to win a lottery.

None of us is going to get discovered.

If you do the same things you did in 2024, chances are at best, it's going to be as good

at best as it was last year we're all getting older

you know the world is changing but if you really want to make change in your life

there's nothing magical about the turning of the calendar it starts with us we

have to be better people.

We have to commit more in a way of work,

and the way of love.

Those are the things that determine the quality of our year.

Now that understood, bad things happen to good people every day.

And sometimes they're innocent victims that are involved in that sort of stuff. Bad things happen to good people every day.

You know, there's illness.

There's war.

There's destruction in the world.

There are things that happen beyond our control.
