Since this is the Fourth of July weekend instead of news, let's talk a little bit about the Fourth of July. A lot of people don't understand even most Americans don't really

understand the history and we're not going to give you a history lesson, but let's real

quick hit some of the highlights that you may not know. So the Declaration of Independence,

it actually started off as a letter to King George to explain why the U.S. Congress wanted

to declare independence. The Declaration of independence actually happened July 2nd,

not July 4th. But by the time everything got approved and it got signed, it was actually July 4th.

Hence, that's why we signed it. We celebrated on July 4th. You know, if you're an American and you

understand our nation's history, the 4th of July is more than just hot dogs and beer. The 4th of

July is when we fought for our

independence from Britain. If you kind of apply that to what's going on in the modern world,

right now, if it would happen again, Britain would call the U.S. a family father's tyrants

because we fought against them. But we eventually made up, and they're one of our strongest

allies. So 2018 marks the 242nd Independence Day, which I think is really cool.
