What's up? Jake is President Trump directs Defense Department to immediately begin the process of established Space Force as a six military branch? How cool is that?

That's pretty cool. I'm just kind of bummed that we got out. Yeah, well, I'm too old now even if I want to get back in, but how cool would it be to be a member of Space Force? I want their uniforms that could look like. Probably just a bunch of stars. I wonder what basic train. I wonder boot camps could be like for them. Are they, they being like zero gravity doing zero gravity exercises or something? You know, I'm kind of curious. A lot of people are, you know, making fun of Trump for establishing the space force, but what if he knows something that we don't? What if there is an imminent alien invasion that's going to happen? And we need to establish a space force. Well, and all joking aside, you remember the Star Wars program that Reagan, or maybe you don't, you may not even been born then.

But, you know, I don't remember that.

Back when President Reagan was present, they talked about the Star Wars program. And I know there's this agreement that a lot of the major Western nations have made not to military

space, but I guarantee you there's some satellites up there with some offensive capacity in case things go bad.

So as much as people may laugh is, I actually think it's something we should be looking at.

You and I were talking off the mic before we got deeper to this.

But it's like, I wonder if the Air Force guys are going to look down upon by the Space Force guys.

Yeah, definitely.

I can see that.

Yeah, I can too.

Space Force will be like the new, like, what if you have space marines? Does that even make sense? I don't know. Maybe we're protecting space waters. So actually, Jake, you know what? They would need grunts, right? So if you're going to board another space station, you got to have some boots on the space station. I won't say boots on the ground, but it wouldn't be right. But they're going to have to have some boots in the air. They're going to have to have some grunts, right?

They're going to have to have some.

I could actually see the Marine Corps stepping right in there and providing the space marines, which just sounds funny. But anyway, good stuff. You wouldn't know you're listening to the All and Gas This Week podcast. If you just turned in, he sounds like we're listening to a sci-fi podcast.
