Hey guys and welcome to the Happy Hour. My name is Jamie Ivey and I'm your host every

single week. And the Happy Hour is just what it sounds. It's girlfriends getting together

and chatting. Imagine you're with us. It'd be just like if you went to a Happy Hour with

your girlfriends. What would you talk about? That's what we do here on the Happy Hour.

We talk about our lives. We talk about our kids. What's going on in the world. New stuff

we're apt to. It's so much fun. And each week I get to have an amazing guest with me.

And this week is no different. This is Happy Hour number 21. And this week I actually

have two guests with me. My friend Laura Ingram and Kimberly Stewart both stopped by to chat.

This week we chat about how much do we let our kids play outside? How much do we let

them do? We trust them to walk to our neighbor's house. We also talked about birthday parties.

I really struggle with birthday parties. I just never can seem to get my act together.

And so Laura and Kimberly both share their birthday ideas. We also talk about chores.

I recently created a chore chart and it's working so wonderful for my kids. And then

we talk about how I hate wearing jackets. It doesn't get that cold in Austin so I never

feel that I really need to wear them. So real quick I want to say thank you to a couple

people who have left comments. Denise left a comment on my blog that said I love this

podcast. Just as I've left all the ones before. I discovered your podcast when you were

maybe three to four episodes in and I'm sad there isn't a huge archive of them to listen

to. I subscribe to about a dozen podcasts but yours is always the first one I listen
