Hey friends and welcome to the happy hour. My name is Jamie Ivy and I am your host

every week. The happy hour podcast is just what it sounds like. It's a happy hour and I

imagine that it would be as if some of our girlfriends got together and we would talk

about things that are very important to us. We would talk about things that aren't

that important in life but they're fun and exciting and so this podcast is just two girls

chatting and I hope that you enjoy it and I hope that you feel like you were with us

at our happy hour. Today is happy hour episode number 20 and my guest is Kate Conner. I met

Kate earlier in the year when I read her book titled Enough and when I read it I thought

I would really like to have her on the podcast and so actually when we did this show today

it was our first time to ever talk. I truly loved having her on and I think this will

be a repeat guess for sure. Today on our blog we talk about her book which started off

from a blog post titled 10 Things I Want to Tell Teenage Girls. I think you're really going

to enjoy that. We talk about what she's doing for her 29th birthday. We also go through

the books that well of it magazine listed as the 15 books that every millennial has read

and we talk about which ones we have read and which one we haven't. We talk about what

we're reading and just about her life. It is so much fun talking with her today and I

think you're going to really really enjoy our conversations. I want to thank thanks

to Brooke. She left a comment on my blog and she said oh I love Peter Patter Art. Great

podcast. That was the podcast that I had on with Laura Kelly who was awesome if you haven't

heard it. Then Brooke said I must admit I recently found your podcast and I binge listened

to all of them in a week and a half during my 30 minute commute to work every day. No

shame. I literally love it and have told everyone and I feel like we are such great friends.
