And this week in honor of Halloween tomorrow, we're going to be sharing some ghost stories.

Have you ever seen a ghost?

Have you maybe seen a shadow of a being flit away in the dark hours of the night?

Maybe you've been woken by the sound of an invisible hand knocking on the wall?

Perhaps you felt the persistent feeling of an unseen force watching you?

Or maybe you feel just like the famous 20th century writer Edith Wharton who said,

I don't believe in ghosts, but I am afraid of them.

There are many theories as to what ghosts are.

Either earthbound souls trapped here or choosing to remain on earth for a variety of reasons.

Some believe ghosts are the residue of energetic memory lingering in a home or place.

Some ghosts are in denial about being dead.

Others are attached to something or someone here on earth, a place they loved, a person

or a habit, and refused to cross over.

But more commonly we find the fearful ghost.

This is a person who refuses to cross because of either what they did on earth and or their

fear of retribution awaiting them on the other side.

Another common ghost is the sad ghost.

You see this frequently with some suicide or tragic love stories.

There's also a ghost with a purpose.

This is a person who refuses to cross until he gets justice for his murder.
