and I'm doing it today. The letter came from Laura Sparks, who wrote? Having been raised in a

hardworking German, Judeo-Christian home, I know that as the framework from which I view the world.

What? Pamper yourself? Who are you kidding? Yes, that is from whence I have come. She goes on.

I am learning to not take myself and my stuff so seriously and to even pamper myself on occasion thanks to you.

However, I know that I can be very judgy of those who don't work

hard or pull their weight or who don't put their kids first. I can be very judgy of my own kids

when they are lazy or sloppy or forget their chores. So how do you reconcile the two?

You've shared that your husband's upbringing was very different from yours, but you have

learned to accept that or parts of it, and it sounds like he's learning to accept your thoughts and

attitudes as well. You spoke to listening to your intuition as the key, that you could never judge

another who is also listening to their intuition, but what if that is in direct conflict with your

values? This is such a good question.

She goes on, I've always trusted the Bible as my gold standard. I encounter people that take my

kindness for granted and I certainly meet those who don't take this standard as serious or as

respectfully as I do. So once again, how do we reconcile that?
