Hey there, Jen here, and this is a happy bit. Oftentimes, when we face problems in life, we just don't know how to get through them or what to do.

We hem and ha and wonder and try to decide and ask for advice, and we kind of get lost in the problem.

I want to challenge you this week or the next time you face a challenge or a difficulty to gain

perspective. There are two exercises I want to challenge you to try. The first one would be to gain a

bigger picture perspective. Imagine you are going back, back, back, up, up, through the sky,

through the atmosphere of the earth, all the way back to

about the level of the moon, allowing yourself to see the entire planet. Look down at where you live.

You can see your home state and imagine where your city might be. And just look there and think about

your problem. And suddenly it won't seem so big. And perhaps the stress will melt

away and you'll be able to see the answer or away through that problem. Or simply have less

stress surviving that problem. Now let's move in the opposite direction. I want you to magnify something.

Zoom in on anything that's around you, perhaps a bird outside

your window or a blade of grass or a little bug or your daughter's eyelashes.

Zoom in on something and contemplate the sheer majesty and amazingness of that one thing.

And suddenly, again, your problem won't seem like such a big

deal when you can be mindful of the beauties around you. So go ahead and give those two exercises a try
