| 0:15.4 | use your five senses today. Smelling something, but truly smelling it in a way that gives you a visceral reaction, |

| 0:35.8 | Your mind loves having these experiences where you really notice things. |
| 0:39.8 | It's called mindfulness, in fact, and it makes us happier because when you focus on these things, |
| 0:46.0 | you're having kind of an attitude of gratitude, and your body then metabolizes cortisol when you're |
| 0:51.9 | doing this. Some researchers at UC Davis found that people who |
| 0:57.8 | exercise gratitude regularly are 23% less stressed. They have 23% less cortisol in their bodies. And so when |
