Hey there, Jen here, and this is a happy bit. On our last episode, I spoke with Deborah Maragopoulos

0:07.0

all about hormones, and it was so fascinating. And I've already heard from so many of you about that

0:12.1

episode. Well, I want to go further on that topic and talk about my hormonal happenings. Ooh,

0:19.5

are you scared yet? Don't be. I just want to talk in particular about

0:24.1

cortisol. Cortisol is our stress hormone. And I've talked with hundreds and maybe even thousands

0:31.0

It's about creating that space for yourself to relax and come back to your authentic,

1:18.4

grounded, calm, and beautiful, juicy self. And I want to challenge you to do that,

1:24.7

even if it's just 10 minutes today. Imagine how amazing you'll

1:28.9

feel to bring that cortisol down just for 10 minutes. The fact is, even if you breathe for only

1:34.6

45 seconds, scientists can find a measurable difference in your cortisol levels. Your brain says,

1:42.3

oh, oh, okay, we're safe. We're breathing deep. We're safe now. And your body will

1:47.3

follow. And lower cortisol means so many things. It means happier relationships, greater patience
