We are in part two of our message series titled Happily Ever After.

What we're talking about influence here, no doubt about it.

The influence of God's truth.

The word immediately introduces us to the challenge that there is this issue of life and death.

There is Christ Jesus who is our atonement.

He came from heaven to earth to die on the cross for our sins.

Before he died on the cross for our sins, the Bible tells us that Jesus, God incarnate,

lived a perfect life.

It's nothing that he achieved, by the way.

We need to know that.

Jesus didn't set out to live a perfect life.

Jesus lived a perfect life in the flesh because he was God incarnate.

You see, what does that mean?

God made flesh among us.

So why did Jesus live a perfect life to meet the demands of God's righteous law

that displays the righteousness of God, call it the Old Testament, if you would, in its entirety.

Jesus came and met all of the requirements of the law, not for himself, but for us in a human body.

He is our perfect representative.

And when he met that standard of perfection that God's law holds to us that we cannot keep,

he kept for us.

He did it for us.

And in turn, then having done that, the law watched this.
