Welcome back to label, the stories, rumors, and legends of tooth-and-nail records.

I'm your host, Matt Carter, and today we're going to hang with hang-nail.

Now, of course, hang-nail is an old-school classic tooth-and-nail punk band, but they've got new holiday music.

This is their first new music in 17 years, and as you can hear, it's killer.

The four-song EP is called Christmas Hems,

and it's a terrific one to run all this week and build it into your yearly Christmas playlist.

I'll tell you what else. How about all this activity from bands in 2020 despite the pandemic?

It's been crazy. There's been tons of new music from bands like Fit for a King, Tyson Motsenbacher.

We've also got new music from previously inactive bands this year,

like hangnail, slick shoes, and acceptance.

It's been awesome.

We've seen a ton of great streams from bands this year,

and I really want to flag all that as super, very positive activity.

It's quite exciting. I hope you call Under O Stream, May, King's Collidercope, Demon Hunter, just name a few. And there is an Emory

stream, if I can squeeze a plug-in in January. I'm only manned in the week's end. They're both on sale

now. Thank you, Jim, for letting me plug that. And there's a bunch of other terrific bands that are becoming active and will announce streams and new music in 2021. I'm not going to

say who, but there are going to be some great stuff then too. And all this is pretty exciting

because it's just adding more and more layers to music consumption and development. And if we've

learned anything from this podcast, it's that people

doing new things and people believing in and supporting new things can lead to real

breakthroughs. This particular community and scene is a testament to that. So really, thank you guys

so much for creating and sustaining this scene decade over decade. I feel like the artists are
