Well, that was quite the weekend, wasn't it?

I left this studio on Friday afternoon, sure, in the knowledge that Matt Hancock would have to fall on his sword before the end of this week.

Despite his mealy-mouth statement after the Sun Published pictures of him canoodling with Gina Collandangelo,

that he was carrying on with the job of saving the

world. I knew he was going to have to go. And I said he should have gone on Friday. Turns out,

of course, as ever, I was completely and utterly correct. Despite Boris Johnson's ridiculous

assertion that he was satisfied with the Secretary of State for Health's explanations and

that he considered the matter closed, he was always on the way down the greasy pole.

Finally, on Saturday, he realised that he outcry in the country and even amongst his own party members was too

much to ignore, and now he has gone. But there are plenty of questions left to answer, and there are also
