Summary

We meet Henry - a creative, delightful boy who would very much like to be an elf. When the Halloween season begins, he throws himself into preparation, for this year he will get to try on his elf-ness! He also meets Brie, a classmate who invites him to trick-or-treat in her neighborhood. On Halloween eve they immediately see that this is no ordinary Halloween: Henry-the-Elf and Brie-the-Cat discover a "Story House," and the adventure begins.

Halloween is right around the corner and you know us. We love Halloween over here at Sparkle Stories.

And now you can do Halloween your own way. There are so many ways to celebrate.

When our kids were younger, we didn't do the traditional Halloweeny things.

We told our own stories and had our own celebrations, but there were always costumes.

Regardless, that night really can be magical almost like no other.

If only because most of the world or much of the world is in costume in the evening, walking about the world.

And there are lights all about and people are excited because we get to be a little something different in a costume, don't we?

So I've picked a story to help inspire and remind us of the magic, the potential for magic in that evening.

And I'm hoping that you can really slow down this Halloween because it gets real busy, doesn't it?

But I'm hoping that you can slow down and enjoy not only the preparation, but the actual evening.
