It is a Halloween advent calendar.

We've got a very strange story from Heather.

She says my mom worked in a primary school and she had a parent who asked for a chat.

They'd been having a hard time as some strange things were happening at home.

They had a hallway where they often heard what sounded like a squeaky wheel

running up and down it

and nothing was there. Then she saw her son throwing a ball up the stairs,

asked him to stop, and he said, I'm playing catch with the little boy. She was

unsettled so she got someone in to check the house for anything

paranormal. She was told that it was a little boy and a little girl riding a trike up and down the hallway

and playing catch with each other up and down the stairs. But oddly, this person said the children weren't ghosts and they weren't even dead.

He said the boy who was now a man was somehow projecting himself back to a place where he had felt happy.

He said the girl didn't need to be there, but the boy was bringing her.

Anyway, the parent went home after a chat with my mom and my mom, out of curiosity,

just looked where she lived. Turns out it was a house I lived in when I was

seven. We had my mum's brother just a few years older than me living with us at the time.

We had a trike with a squeaky wheel. We used to ride in a hallway and we would

often throw a ball to each other up and down the stairs. It's interesting that hauntings,

if real, aren't always necessarily from the dead.

Deeply strange, tingle-inducing tale there, however.
