Today's case takes us to Taiwan.

Our witness is Adam, who was an English teacher there in his early 20s.

Adam says, Taiwan is pretty rich in ghosts.

They even have a month, Lunar October, devoted to them.

Shortly after moving there, I met a local girl and we started dating.

She went to work early one warm morning. I laid in with a standing fan whirring away.

I came too from dozing mid-morning. As I lay in my bed, up the stairs to the bedroom, came an opaque, hairless, Caucasian woman crawling up.

Her movements were more feline than human. Her eyes were fixed on me.

As she reached the top of the stairs, she crawled onto the floor level bed, onto my chest.

She proceeded to hold me down and scream in my face.

What she said, I knew only at the time. It was clear, poignant and relevant to my life.

I was frozen with almost impossible fear. It felt like an injection. After what seemed like an age,

I managed to close my eyes.

Everything stopped, and she disappeared.

I didn't tell my girlfriend for fear of frightening her,

and I didn't tell my colleagues for fear of ridicule.

I wish I could remember what the woman was shouting.
