Are you ready for another dose of the Halloween Advent calendar?

We have a story from a listener called Emily, who says,

When my father was a teenager, one of his friends mentioned an abandoned church in Bedfordshire called Clop Hill

is supposedly haunted. My father and his friends drove there one night and parked so they had a good

view of the church. Then they noticed a set of car headlights coming up the road. The car, a mini,

drove slowly past, but because it was dark, they didn't see the driver. It then turned and seemed to be coming towards them again. When the car reached them and drove slowly passed, but because it was dark, they didn't see the driver. It then turned and seemed to be

into it. My dad realized the reason they couldn't see the driver was because there was no driver

in it. They left pretty quickly after that. Cut to 10 years ago, me and my friend were driving along a

country road and because it was late at night we had our full beams on. We saw a small car

driving towards us. There was a dip between us and we had a clear view of the car driving into

the dip but it never came out. We quickly parked to see if it had veered off into a ditch,

but there were no tire marks, no gap in the hedge.

I was extremely confused,

but then I realised our road was the same road my dad had been on 30 years earlier.
