0:08.3	I'm calling today about my ghost story that I want to share with you folks.
0:12.9	The place that I'm talking about here is called the Paley Battlefield.
0:17.9	I went there in the summer of 2011, which is located in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
0:25.7	And the reason they call it the Paoli battlefield is there was a Paoli tavern that was adjacent
0:33.0	down the street. And that was really the only landmark that anybody had where they could
0:37.3	identify where this location was. But during the Revolutionary War, the street. And that was really the only landmark that anybody had where they could identify
0:37.8	where this location was. But during the Revolutionary War, obviously, it was Britain or the
0:43.6	British first, the Patriots, the American Patriots at the time. And on September 20th to
0:52.4	the 21st, I guess overnight during that date 1777, 53 American Patriots
1:01.1	were killed and they were ambushed by bayonet in the middle of the night.
1:07.4	A total, I believe, of over 270 American Patriots died within the night or two around that battle there.
1:16.6	But it was a critical battle as they were trying to fight overtake Philadelphia.
1:23.5	And I think the British had already captured most of the city and they were working kind of pushing the American Patriots back out to what we call today in the modern suburbs.
1:34.9	So my story starts where I had heard from a number of people about, you know, you got to, you go check this battlefield out.
1:44.5	It is crazy haunted.
1:46.2	People always get EVPs and people always get, you know, see things and hear things and
1:53.7	have paranormal experiences there.
1:57.5	So at the time, I was just starting out in my paranormal investigator career.
