This week I bring you straight to the next mirror in the hall, for both it and I are eager for your company.

You see, almost immediately its glass begins to ripple and swirl, and see how the image distorts and changes,

settling now on a new world, a country road, and look, trees all around. It's a woodland scene. How peaceful.

Let's step through, shall we?

Mmm, fresh air.

Oh, but here comes a car, a four-wheel drive. We'd better stand aside in case it hits us.

Oh, but of course it can't. It can't hurt us in any way at all, for we aren't real in this world. So we can just stand here and wait

until it hits. Then we will pass through it and onto the back seats hit you ride into a nightmare I call

the green man.

Oh look Alec, up ahead on the left there, a pub. Libi Bingham, pointed a chubby finger and smiled. Then she hoisted the Yorkshire

terrier who sat in her lap and aimed his face towards the pub so he too might notice it.

Look Bobby, a pub!

Does Bobby want a drinky wink?

Bobby yapped and pumped his legs.

So does Mummy!

Libby rubbed Bobby's head.

She looked up at Alec.

Mummy's very thirsty.

Well, Mummy can have a sip of Daddy's water, said Alec without enthusiasm.
