I had hoped to get the exterminators in before this episode went out so as we'd be free of the little monsters.

But well I've been so caught up in getting my new content polished and ready that, uh, well, I just haven't got around to calling them.

Why, it's so horrible, even they don't like being in it.

Ah, that's better. No roaches, no rats, no armadillos. A reference to Todd Brownings's 1931 version of Dracula. You know, where Belalou

goes he comes down the stairs and besides the conventional cobwebs and spiders and what have you, there's a couple of

armadillos shuffling about.

It's a striking image and clearly the low water mark when it comes to good housekeeping.

When you've managed to get an armadillo problem, you really do need to start thinking about

tidying up more often.
