Summary

I’m back with Hala Taha in my series on the art of trying. This is part two, my “What Drives You” episode and I walk through the key areas of life and what drives Hala. Before even diving into specifics like spirituality, relationships, and health & wellness, we simply talk about Hala’s overall drive, as she shared in the previous episode how her initial drive was fueled by her father who immigrated to the US, and an expectation to become a doctor like the rest of her siblings. This is where she shared her commitment to consistently define her values so they would see her through in challenging times when you can’t think logically. This was significant to me and we dug in deeper to this. We then start off with spirituality and get on the topic of how we are all brainwashed in our upbringing and need to re-brainwash ourselves toward what we truly…value.
