Take a deep breath and quiet your heart as we become aware of God's loving presence around us and within us.

Today's passage comes from Haggai, Chapter 2, verse 9.

The final glory of this house will be greater than the first, says the Lord of Armies.

I will provide peace in this place.

This is the declaration of the Lord of Armies. Recite God's goodness.

Glorious and exalted God, how kind of you to speak to your rebellious people through your prophets.

And so you speak to me through your spirit and your word, calling me to repentance, reminding

me of your love, reassuring me of your presence.
